UKCIL Ltd is looking for a Personal Development Assistant for Young Person to provide support to a young boy with additional needs, SEMH needs, for 2 hours a week in Norwich.

The successful candidate will need to be proactive and enthusiastic, able to engage in imaginative play and various activities like swimming, gaming, puzzles, and Pokémon.

Some tasks may involve supporting with personal care, time management, and organization.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in understanding the child's needs, preferences, and goals, and work collaboratively with the child, their EHCP, school, and parent to achieve these.

Key skills and qualifications include experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, ODD, and PDA; being physically active and able to engage in sports; holding a valid driving license; being a creative problem-solver; empathetic and patient; dependable.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.50, with an estimated annual income of £1,040 (2 hours/week x 52 weeks). Additionally, the employee will receive 5.6 weeks annual leave and free training in GDPR, Health and Safety, and First Aid.

The position requires a DBS check, satisfactory references, and a 6-month probationary period.
