School-Based Mental Health Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker for Students with Mental Health Needs to join our team at Whofoundwho. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in their lives.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey duties and responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Mental Health therapists/counsellors, internally and externally
- Supporting whole school initiatives on mental health strategies, including delivering mental health training for staff
- Supporting staff to resolve issues with students with mental health needs
- Carrying out baseline and interim assessments to assess the impact of interventions
You will also work closely with the SENCO to plan, undertake, and monitor interventions specifically designed to help students with mental health needs.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is £24,500 per year, with a starting rate of £110 rising to £124 per day. The school is situated in the heart of Wandsworth, South West London, offering easy access to public transport links.
