About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in school settings. As an EMHP or CWP, you will work closely with parents, young people, and education professionals to provide low-intensity interventions for anxiety, depression, and behavioural difficulties.

Job Responsibilities
  • To deliver guided self-help interventions for children, young people, and their parents through individual sessions or groups.
  • To undertake patient-centred assessments, identify areas where individuals wish to see change, and make accurate risk assessments.
  • Offer workshops and groups to parents and/or young people, providing information and support for evidence-based treatments.
  • To adhere to activity and throughput contracts, ensuring accessible and convenient treatment delivery.
  • To complete data collection requirements and maintain coherent records of clinical activity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification as an EMHP or CWP from a registered training course.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work cohesively within a team, and experience working with children, young people, and parents.
  • Good organisational skills, including preparing for supervision and maintaining clinical notes.
  • Commitment to using data and relevant measures to assess clinical outcomes.
