About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Qualifications Advisor to join our team at the Institution of Chemical Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance to applicants on eligibility, process, and tools for our membership and registration services.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all IChemE members and stakeholders receive the highest levels of service and satisfaction. You will act as an ambassador for IChemE at all times, maintaining good working relationships with senior members, member volunteers, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clear and helpful guidance to applicants on eligibility, process, and tools for membership and registration.
  • Support applicants and reviewers in the use of our online portal.
  • Communicate panel outcomes via email and phone, including 'declined' applications where sensitivity is required.
  • Articulate membership benefits to ensure meaningful and accurate communication with members.
  • Respond accurately and efficiently to general membership enquiries within agreed timeframes by the most appropriate channel.
Process Membership/Registration Applications
  • Manage application process through CRM, portals, and other systems as required, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
  • Produce data for analysis and planning, and check data for cleanliness.
  • Ensure operational process documentation is updated and maintained.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and provide proactive updates on status.
  • Produce registration reports/uploads for licensing bodies following each cycle.
  • Carry out reconciliation of registrant data as required.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and call out any areas of concern that could lead to potential non-compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, seeking opportunities to improve service and process.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues and recommend corrective actions.
