We are currently recruiting for a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in a welcoming and supportive primary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with class teachers to provide support and assistance in KS1 classrooms.
- Help plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote positive learning outcomes for all pupils.
- Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream setting.
- Assist with classroom management and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Support small groups and individual students, helping to boost academic progress and confidence.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to teacher assessments and reports.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience working with KS1 students in a primary school setting.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- A willingness to support SEN pupils in a mainstream environment.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
