Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team at the City of Doncaster Council. As a Residential Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing a warm, caring, and enabling environment for children living with disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering care and support based on the principles of quality care, reflecting privacy, dignity, choice, and fulfillment and independence. You will work sensitively as a team member to meet the emotional, social, and physical needs of the children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless service delivery
  • Participating in sleep-in duties and undertaking different shift patterns to meet the needs of the service
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders
