About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our team in Doncaster, supporting the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for children aged 3–5. As a Supporting Children's Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting children's learning, development, and wellbeing, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Early Years Framework.
  • Support the planning and delivery of stimulating activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Provide targeted support to children, including those with additional needs, to facilitate their progress in learning and development.
  • Accurately record and monitor children's development, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Create a secure, inclusive, and respectful environment where children feel supported and valued.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support for children's development and wellbeing.
  • Evaluate and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • A recognized Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or related field.
  • Understanding of the EYFS Framework and commitment to child-centered learning principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
