Job Title: Mobile Tanker Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tanker Mechanic to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing tankers to a high maintenance standard.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and service tankers to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Repair tankers as needed to maintain a high level of maintenance standard
  • Highlight potential business opportunities to line manager
  • Ensure all compliance details are completed accurately and on time
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with road traffic law and company policy
  • Undertake required training as deemed necessary by the company
  • Provide high customer service levels while working to specified deadlines
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Time served experience working with tankers or HGV types would be an advantage
  • Experience in similar fields to road tankers would be considered, such as hydraulics, pneumatic, plant machinery, or other similar vehicle types
  • City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications in a similar area would be an advantage
  • Previous mobile working experience would be an advantage
  • High level of enthusiasm and good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Initiative to work autonomously if required
