Mobile Tanker Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tanker Mechanic to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited, based locally to Coalville, Leicestershire.
As a Mobile Tanker Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing tankers to a high maintenance standard.
Main Responsibilities:
- To inspect, service, and repair tankers (primarily vacuum waste tankers) to a high maintenance standard.
- To highlight all potential business commercial opportunities to line manager.
- To ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- To ensure all company vehicles are driven and operated at all times in accordance with road traffic law and company policy.
- To undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
- To provide high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlines.
- To adhere to the company's health & safety policies and procedures.
- The role will involve possible shift working, including weekends.
Requirements:
- Time served experience working with tankers (preferably waste tankers) or HGV types (including trucks and trailers) would be an advantage.
- Experience in similar fields to road tankers would be considered, such as hydraulics, pneumatic, plant machinery or other similar vehicle types.
- City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications in a similar area would be an advantage.
- Previous mobile working experience would be an advantage.
- High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
- Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Initiative to work autonomously if required.
