Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults and system malfunctions
Work on vehicles from different manufacturers, with a specialized focus on electrical systems and components
Collaborate with the Mechanical leads to achieve the principal objective of preparing vehicles for sale
Requirements
Proven experience as a vehicle technician with substantial knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and electrical components
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for both mechanical and electrical issues
Strong understanding of electric and hybrid vehicles
Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent certification in automotive or similar fields
Additional certification or training in automotive electrical systems is highly desirable but not essential
Knowledge of vehicle safety systems (ADAS, EV safety)
Legally able to drive manual vehicles in the UK
Experience using Diagnostic equipment
