Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanic with a focus on plumbing to join our team at Mainstay Industrial, covering sites across the East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Covering both planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance on site infrastructure, including boilers, taps, toilets, heating systems, plant rooms, and dealing with legionella works.
  2. You will assist in project planning, estimation, and stock control, ensuring that all work is compliant with health and safety regulations.
  3. Providing excellent customer service is essential in this role, as you will interact with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical engineering, such as an NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, performing maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within commercial plant rooms is imperative.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of up to £37,000 + van + call-out fees (approx. £1,200).
