Sonderwell is seeking a dedicated Adult Care Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care for a client based in St Austell, Cornwall. This role involves assisting with general care, including minimal personal care, medication management, and food preparation.

The ideal candidate will be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle. The working hours are 7 hours per day (9-4pm or 10-5pm) for 5 days a week, with the days changing on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing personalized care plans.
  2. Providing emotional support and companionship.
  3. Aiding with accessing community resources.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in caring for individuals with PTSD/visual impairment.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Flexibility to work the specified hours.
