Development Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Chef to join our team at The Ivy Collection. As a key member of our Development Team, you will be responsible for managing the Menu Development process from start to finish, ensuring that our menus are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with our Development Chefs, Marketing Team, and Supply Chain to ensure that our menus are aligned with our brand values and customer preferences.
- Menu Planning: Plan and manage the menu development process, including setting timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recipe Development: Develop and maintain recipes for our menus, ensuring that they are accurate, consistent, and meet our quality standards.
- Menu Printing: Manage the printing of menus, including liaising with external designers and printers, proof-reading, and ensuring that all menus are delivered on time.
- Team Management: Line manage the Menu Development Co-ordinator and Assistant, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they are able to perform their roles effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the Executive Team on menu development progress, sales data, and other key performance indicators.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting and meeting deadlines, and managing budgets.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Development Chefs, Marketing Team, Supply Chain, and restaurant staff.
- Menu Development Expertise: Proven experience in menu development, including recipe development, menu planning, and menu printing.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they are able to perform their roles effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and other key performance indicators to inform menu development decisions.
