Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional for a 2 month contract in Huntingdon. The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Overview
This position involves supporting service users through their treatment and recovery journey, providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning, reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the community, promoting carer, service user, and community involvement, and supporting social reintegration.
Key Responsibilities
- Recovery Planning and Support: Work with service users to develop and implement individualised recovery plans, setting goals and objectives to achieve successful outcomes.
- Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of service users' needs, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to address these.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local community groups, services, and organisations to promote carer, service user, and community involvement in the recovery process.
- Social Reintegration: Support service users in reintegrating into society, enabling them to lead meaningful lives, free from the grip of substance misuse.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have an Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS, as well as relevant experience in substance misuse recovery work.
