Senior Occupational Therapist
We are currently recruiting skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapists to join our Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team in North Lancashire. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting people to live more independent lives.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, working closely with colleagues to provide proportionate care and adapting equipment to meet individual needs.
- As a senior member of the team, you will undertake supervision and line management of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- You will also lead on specific projects, applying your expertise to drive innovation and improvement within the service.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or pending application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Able to work autonomously, using initiative and judgment to resolve complex problems.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
