Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill a leadership role within our Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team.

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and support our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff, while also managing a complex caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical leadership and support to the Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team.
  2. Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  3. Manage a complex caseload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of duties.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  1. Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Experience in clinical leadership and supervision.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
