Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill a leadership role within our Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team.
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and support our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff, while also managing a complex caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Manage a complex caseload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of duties.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in clinical leadership and supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
