About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at SSE Enterprise Utilities. As a key member of our Distributed Energy business, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of Heat Networks projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure allocated opportunities are thoroughly scrutinized for feasibility, identifying potential risks and costs.
  • Take ownership of construction risks and costs, working closely with the engineering team to develop buildable options.
  • Support the engineering team in optioneering, ensuring that construction aspects are thoroughly considered.
  • Act as the team representative in planning site works, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders on construction aspects of the project.
Requirements
  • Site-based experience in the delivery of Heat Networks projects.
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 13941.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing critical construction documentation, such as RAMS and CPP.
  • Ability to quantify construction risks and communicate effectively within a project team.
