Job Description
As a Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of software solutions to our clients. You will lead multiple projects or programmes of work, managing virtual teams and working collaboratively with other project managers, product managers, data specialists, application consultants, technical consultants, and development teams. Your goal will be to deliver products to client specifications on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Plan and control finances by means of accurate estimation, forecasting, and strong monitoring and control of spend.
- Liaise proactively with clients on the progress of jobs and act as the first point of contact for customer complaints.
- Maintain ongoing communications with all stakeholders, including attending board meetings at client organisations.
- Manage project and programme risks, issues, and dependencies, as well as interfaces between projects and third-party contributions.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience in managing software delivery projects and programmes that involve significant business change. You should have experience in delivering software development projects to external customers and possess strong leadership skills across planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder, and team management. You should also be comfortable with Google suite and PM tools, have good commercial acumen, and be self-motivated, methodical, and conscientious. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal skills, a background in leading client accounts, and previous experience of working with or in a public sector and familiar with the local government procurement process.
