This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of highway projects, ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects with minimal support and working as part of an integrated team on large projects led by an Associate or Director.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading project management commissions and taking responsibility for their successful delivery
  • Providing effective support, supervision, and motivation of project managers, assistant/graduate, and apprentice project managers
  • Ensuring all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training
  • Leading the management of the delivery of project management team outputs in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Coordinating internal AECOM project team meetings for coordinating the AECOM project team

The estimated salary for this role is around £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a base salary plus benefits and bonuses. To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A professional qualification in project management, construction, engineering, or quantity surveying
  • Chartered status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or equivalent institution
  • Experience working within a consultancy environment
  • Excellent understanding of construction contracts and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
