Designing the Future of Flexible Electronics
A Postdoctoral Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Bath to work on the development of new organometallic/coordination complexes/precursors for application in the fabrication of p-type flexible thin film transistor technology. This is a fixed-term position until 2028, with a salary estimated to be around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have or be close to completing a PhD or equivalent in synthetic organometallic/coordination chemistry or deposition and characterisation of ultra-thin film materials. A background in synthetic organometallic/coordination chemistry, expertise in the synthesis and structural characterization of air-sensitive compounds (including glove-box techniques) is desirable. As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, you will work closely with a small team of postgraduate students and scientists at PragmatIC Semiconductor Ltd, as well as teams based in Liverpool and Cambridge.
