About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team and contribute to the development of genomic surveillance tools and evolutionary genetic approaches to the study of disease vectors.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, such as biology, computer science, epidemiology, bioinformatics, ecology, or genomics, and significant experience in molecular biology and/or next-generation sequencing technologies.

The ideal candidate will also have well-developed research skills, with the ability to present research findings in oral or written format, and evidence of preparing publications for specialist/general science journals.

The salary for this position is approximately £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
