The Department of Vector Biology is at the forefront of vector biology research. With a mission to combat vector-borne diseases affecting the world's most vulnerable populations, our department pioneers research in genomics, vector behaviour, and disease ecology, driving impactful interventions against diseases like malaria, sleeping sickness, and dengue. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to developing novel approaches and tools for vector control, with a vision to eliminate these diseases as global public health threats.
