Vector Biologist Research Leader

Our internationally renowned institution, LSTM, seeks a leading vector biologist to join our esteemed team in Liverpool, UK. We are seeking an expert with a strong background and interest in vector-borne diseases.
This role involves initiating, developing, delivering, leading, and publishing high-quality research in vector-borne disease ecology and control. You will contribute to enhancing the reputation and profile of LSTM in vector biology research, especially concerning LMICs. The successful candidate will oversee teaching and learning strategy within their academic field.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
About the Role
- Developing a comprehensive research program and maintaining a track record of published research findings.
- Overseeing general teaching and learning strategy within your academic field.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- Established international reputation in an academic field.
- Proven experience in research leadership within a Higher Education Institution (HEI).
- Experience developing multidisciplinary research programmes, including collaboration with academia, industry, and government health organizations.
