**Job Title:** Climate Expert Leader

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Expert Leader to join our team. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for further developing Climate, Environment and Health expertise at LSTM, contributing to improving health outcomes in poor/vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

The ideal candidate will have a strong record of interdisciplinary, team-based science, including peer-reviewed publications and securing external funding. A focus on high-impact research, climate change impacts on health, implementation, and translational science is essential. Identifying new transdisciplinary research opportunities and expanding funding sources is key to long-term success.

The estimated salary for this role is **£60,000 - £80,000 per annum**, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including pension scheme, generous annual leave, and professional development opportunities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

  • PhD qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject area
  • Extensive knowledge of subject area informed by substantial current research in the field
  • Evidence of established international reputation in global health arena, related to Climate, Environment, and Health
