About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team at Ground Control. As a Machine Operator, you will work on waterways utilities and construction sites, utilizing your expertise to assist in the scoping of works, preparation of method statements, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your experience to assist in the scoping of works, preparation of method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Reading and understanding site plans and working according to written or verbal instruction.
  • Working in a clean and tidy manner, protecting the environment and avoiding pollution.
  • Maintaining equipment, completing pre-start checks, and submitting findings as required.
  • Completing routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
  • Operating plant or equipment you are trained and competent to use.
  • Complying with legislation, including Health and Safety at Work, LOLER, COSHH, etc.

Requirements:

  • CPCS Cardholder essential.
  • 360 Excavator essential.
  • Dumper forward tipping.
  • CPCS A59C Lifting with Excavators/NPORS Excavator as Crane.
  • Telehandler.
  • Excavator Above & below 10Ton.
  • 5 years experience in the role advantageous.
