Compliance Team Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Team Assistant to join our dynamic team at Pem. As a Compliance Team Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all tax returns are processed accurately and efficiently.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Private Client team in ensuring first-class data entry and tax return processing. This will involve requesting client information, generating tax returns, and communicating with clients regarding their liabilities and any tax-saving opportunities.
Responsibilities:- Process tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Request client information from clients or the audit team
- Generate tax returns and assess the impact of each piece of information
- Pass files to managers/tax advisors for review
- Sending tax returns to clients with a letter detailing liabilities and any tax-saving opportunities
- Communicate with clients regarding the need to pay tax
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
We offer a competitive salary of £25000 - £35000 per annum depending on experience. If you have excellent organizational skills and are able to work well under pressure, we would love to hear from you.
