Role Summary

This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Adult Inpatient Unit at the Harbour in Blackpool. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health problems.

Responsibilities
  • Assessing patients within hospital and home environments
  • Developing treatment plans and implementing interventions
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • State registered with Health Professionals Council
  • Post Graduate training relevant to mental health work in appropriate speciality
  • Practice Placement Qualification (Undergraduate OT student educator) within 1 year of appointment

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of £47,304 - £61,923 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer flexible working arrangements, regular professional supervision, and opportunities for career development.
