Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Harbour in Blackpool. As a Senior OT, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health problems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of post-registration experience, with a strong background in mental health. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caseload management and patient assessments
  • Development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Individual and group therapy sessions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • State registered with Health Professionals Council
  • Post Graduate training relevant to mental health work in appropriate speciality
  • Practice Placement Qualification (Undergraduate OT student educator) within 1 year of appointment
