About the Role
Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Swadlincote. This exciting opportunity offers a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with severe and enduring mental ill health.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with people experiencing mental health challenges, empowering them through their recovery journey. A key aspect of this role will be working with a caseload of service users, supporting the duty function within the team, and providing expertise in risk assessment and management. The ideal candidate will possess experience in group work, although training is available for those looking to develop this skill.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the trust offers a range of benefits, including 27 days annual leave/year plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days after 5 years & 33 days after 10 years' service. Other benefits include a generous NHS pension scheme, good maternity, paternity and adoption benefits, health service discounts, and incremental pay progression.
Requirements
- Nursing registration with the NMC
- ENB 998 or mentorship training
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team setting
