Esland seeks a skilled Residential Childcare Manager to lead our team in Warrington. In this critical role, you will oversee the daily activities of our children's home, ensuring the well-being and development of our young residents. Your expertise in childcare management and ability to implement effective strategies will contribute significantly to our mission of promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable children.

About the Position:
  • As a Residential Childcare Manager, you will supervise a team of staff working in a care role and ensure that they operate within the guidelines set by Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
  • You will participate in Ofsted inspections and develop plans to improve the home's performance.
  • Your knowledge of relevant legislations and best practices will guide your decision-making and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a care-related position within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role within a care setting.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent is desired but not mandatory.

Salary and Benefits:
  • A salary of up to £48,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
  • The possibility to earn up to £8,000 in bonuses based on achieved KPIs.
  • Support in obtaining a fully funded Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) if not already held.
