Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Physician Associate Programme, ensuring its strategic direction and alignment with the University's goals.
  • Collaborate with NHS partners to develop joint working ventures, improve recruitment, retention, and quality of clinical placements, teaching, and student experience.
  • Prepare for the Physician Associate Apprenticeship and ensure the programme's regulation by the General Medical Council.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, quality assurance, and self-assessment to ensure safe practice and alignment with GMC learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Dean of the Three Counties Medical School to achieve tangible positive outcomes and demonstrate an excellent awareness of the Higher Education environment.
