Lead the Way in Physician Associate Education

The University of Worcester is a leading institution in the field of health education, and we are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Physician Associate Programme. As a Principal Lecturer, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the programme, working closely with our NHS partners to enhance clinical placements, teaching, and the student experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with NHS partners to develop joint working ventures and improve recruitment, retention, and quality of clinical placements
  • Preparing for the Physician Associate Apprenticeship and ensuring alignment with GMC learning outcomes
  • Regulating physicians associates with the GMC, including policies, processes, quality assurance, and self-assessment

We are looking for a proven leader with excellent awareness of the Higher Education environment. As Head of Department, you will be responsible for motivating and influencing your colleagues to achieve tangible positive outcomes. This is a permanent post with an initial fixed term of 3 years.
