Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at JBA Consulting. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements from internal and external clients and creating wireframes, modeling, and diagrams. You will also be involved in producing user guides, help files, and training documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Developing detailed requirements for project staff, including project managers, systems architects, developers, testers, and end-users.
  • Running requirement workshops and meetings.

Location:

The role will be based in one of our Yorkshire offices. JBA Consulting supports agile working, providing flexibility in the way we work.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for applicants with robust experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in a technical environment. The ability to understand complex concepts quickly is essential.

Desirable Skills:

  • Development experience.
  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS), especially geospatial data systems.
  • Databases design and definition.
  • API interface design and definition.
  • UI/UX design.
