Technical Business Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team at JBA Consulting. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements from internal and external clients and creating wireframes, modeling, and diagrams to deliver quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Developing detailed requirements for project staff, including project managers, systems architects, developers, testers, and end users and client stakeholders.
  • Running requirement workshops and meetings.

Location:

The role will be based in one of our Yorkshire offices, with the option to work remotely. JBA Consulting supports agile working, providing flexibility in the way we work.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for applicants with robust experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in a technical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work in an open and collaborative way, and have the ability to understand complex concepts quickly.

Desirable Skills:

  • Some development experience.
  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS), especially geospatial data systems.
  • Databases design and definition.
  • API interface design.
  • UI/UX design.
