Job Title: Hospitality Senior Sous Chef

Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Senior Sous Chef to join our team at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day kitchen operation, ensuring that food is produced and served to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other senior team members to develop and implement menu concepts and culinary strategies.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional food quality and service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of ingredients and equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of kitchen policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, multi-outlet environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional food quality and service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency.
