Job Title: Hospitality Senior Sous Chef

Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Senior Sous Chef to join our team at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day kitchen operation, ensuring that food is produced and served to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other culinary team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
