We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Technician to join our team based in Ipswich.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to provide technical support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, working with our technical team to implement solutions, and continuously improving their knowledge and understanding of various software and hardware technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and respond to 2nd line IT support escalations via our ticketing system
- Work closely with our technical director, service manager, and 1st and 3rd line teams to deliver high-quality support
- Implement solutions to improve the IT estate of our clients and internal projects
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across various software and hardware technologies
- Travel to customer sites when required to provide on-site support
- Configure and resolve issues with Microsoft 365, Windows computers, servers, and Macs
Requirements
- Prior experience in a 2nd line technical support role
- Full UK driving license
- IT-related qualifications (A-level, NVQ, Btec, or degree) are beneficial
- Ability to problem-solve within a technical environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
