Research Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Cambridge Lactation Laboratory. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Cambridgeshire Multiomics of Milk (CAMB MOM) study, conducting molecular biology and cell culture experiments, and contributing to the development of new research ideas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct molecular analysis, including RNA extraction and purification, protein analysis, histology, and multiplexed immunostaining.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and implement new research projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research papers and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as molecular biology or biochemistry.
  • Excellent laboratory skills and experience with molecular biology techniques.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
