Job Title: HR Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at News UK. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing first-line HR support and HR administration to over 3,000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and assistance to employees, line managers, and HR Business Partners across the organization
  • Maintaining accurate HR records on SAP, including identifying and correcting errors
  • Coordinating and processing new starters and leavers within the company
  • Processing maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave cases
  • Maintaining accurate benefit information via the BenefitsHub platform
  • Compiling and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation
  • Logging and monitoring sickness and absence
  • Producing letters and drafting contracts for contractual changes
  • Compiling redundancy calculation costs when required
  • Answering Subject Access Requests
  • Building and managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Working closely with payroll to answer payroll-related queries

Requirements:

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the business and seniority
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience with SAP desired but not essential
