Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our People Operations team at News UK. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on employment screening, contracts of employment, and right to work checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and issue offer letters, contracts of employment, and starter packs for new starters
- Conduct employment screening checks and right to work checks
- Provide proactive advice and guidance to stakeholders on contractual terms
- Ensure accurate recording of new starter details in our HR Information System
- Maintain employment contract templates and update them as necessary
- Manage employment screening and right to work processes
- Foster professional relationships with stakeholders
- Act as an expert advisor in employment law
Requirements
- Strong customer focus and passion for service delivery
- Collaborative approach and ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to question and challenge appropriately
- Initiative to research issues and solve problems independently
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience with HR systems is desired but not essential
