Job Description

As a Special Needs Education Support Worker with Protocol Education, you will be working in a school setting to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve providing individualized support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEMH and ASD in their learning and development
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Assist the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification/experience in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistant
  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Prior experience working with students with SEN, or personal experience
