About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Specialist Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Sutton, South London. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, developing tailored lesson plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a background in SEN support, preferably in secondary settings.
  • Have previous experience working with students with SEN in secondary schools, demonstrating expertise in adapting teaching strategies.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, able to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK, holding a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
