About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a great school based in Sutton. As a Psychology Graduate with a keen interest in developing your SEN skills, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with students who have special needs.

This role is ideal for those looking to pursue a career in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or work in Special Needs. You will be working alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support with the development and learning of students within the school.
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements for the day.
  • Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained.
Requirements
  • A patient and understanding approach.
  • An interest in working with students with SEND.
  • Be flexible in your approach.
  • Existing DBS check on the update service – NEW DBS CHECKS CAN BE APPLIED FOR.
  • Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND advantageous, but not required.
