Job Title: Nuclear Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Nuclear & Power Division, you will play a vital role in designing complex new schemes to protect our clients' assets.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and operate nuclear reactors and other nuclear facilities to optimize designs and reduce risks.
  • Provide consultancy advice to clients in the nuclear industry, leveraging your expertise in probabilistic safety analysis.
  • Develop and deliver PSA models, analyze and interpret results, and support critical decision-making in the design and operation of facilities.
  • Contribute to the development of Severe Accident Management Guidelines (SAMG) and other safety initiatives.
  • Mentor others in a technical capacity and assist in the production of bids and proposals.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant subject.
  • Strong background in nuclear safety and hazard assessment.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical practitioner able to demonstrate good engineering judgment and extensive experience in using fundamental engineering skills.
  • Able to produce and review high-quality technical reports.
