About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our client's team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking service warranty bookings and inputting them into the system
  • Greeting customers, discussing, identifying, and progressing routine service and repair requirements
  • Promoting the sale of service and accessories
  • Ensuring maximum profit is achieved from all service works in accordance with company policy
  • Discussing and identifying manufacturer's warranty, routine service, and repair requirements with customers
  • Ensuring service and repair jobs are completed satisfactorily and to time specified
  • Issuing repair orders to workshop technicians and adding further information to assist with repair
  • Reporting any delays in work completion to customers
  • Recording all materials used and time employed on each vehicle on job cards
  • Accurately costing all invoices for payment
  • Keeping price lists and charge-out rates up to date
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a Service Advisor role
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of the motor industry, parts, and service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate equally with mechanics, customers, and senior management
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A full UK driving license
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum and a 47-hour working week (Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8am to 3pm).
