Haemoglobinopathies Clinical Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practitioner to join our team at University Hospital Lewisham NHS Trust. As a Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our haemoglobinopathies service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage evidence-based therapeutic programmes to improve health outcomes for patients with haemoglobinopathies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered Nurse or other allied healthcare professional with a Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching patients and staff, including health promotion and education.
  • Ability to lead projects and contribute to service development.
