Unilever, a leading global FMCG company with iconic brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil & Simple, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its team.

This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months, working a 39 hour week. The salary will be up to £32,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the HR Generalist will be to provide clear and consistent application of employee policies and practices. This includes creating positive key employee moments such as onboarding, career growth, and time off.

  • The HR Generalist will guide line managers and HR Business Partners in relation to HR policies and procedures. This includes coaching them through the process and ensuring they understand legal requirements.
  • A proactive approach will be taken to employee relations. This involves reviewing data, spotting trends, recommending solutions, and coaching Line Managers to tackle problems before they grow.
Responsibilities:

The HR Generalist will work closely with teams across HR, including HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition, etc.

Experience in employee relations and case management is essential, including knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations:

  1. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are required. This includes building relationships with trust & confidence, and the ability to influence.
