About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tenancy Support Worker to join our team at SPEAR. As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to achieve their goals and maintain a stable tenancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support services to clients, including advice, motivation, and crisis intervention, to help them achieve their goals and maintain a stable tenancy.
  • Conduct assessments and casework with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to support provision.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within the homelessness or social care sector.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data management.
  • Ability to work with clients who may display challenging behaviors.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in recording and maintaining accurate records on IT applications such as CHAIN and Inform.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
