Litigation Claims Specialist

About the Role
\We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Coordinator to join our client's team. As a key member of the claims administration team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of damage claims and resolving disputes in a timely manner.
\Key Responsibilities
\- Manage a caseload of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ within the Delegations of Authority.
- Establish key customer contacts and manage down debt.
- Use IT applications including Solcase, GIS, Eam Spatial, OMS, and Oracle to track and resolve claims.
- Apply and understand the principles of relevant legislation and guidance notes when handling damage claims.
- Handle technical and legal queries and disputes, providing excellent customer service skills.
- Identify problematic claims and determine the best course of action.
- Work closely with external legal service providers to progress claims into litigation for resolution.
Requirements
\- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Minimum 2 A Levels grade C or above, OR NVQ Level 3, OR ONC in Business Management; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven written and spoken communication skills, with experience in teamwork and customer service.
- Desirable: Previous claims, insurance, or legal experience.
Salary and Benefits
\The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £13.40-£14.76 per hour (dependent on experience). Additionally, they will receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and free on-site parking.
