About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Garment Technologist to join our dynamic team at TFG London. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with our design and buying departments to ensure the fit, quality, and technical capabilities of our footwear, accessories, and swimwear products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the technical team in evaluating fit and attending weekly fit sessions throughout the department, from initial prototype to pre-production. Key accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring all technical packs are updated and complete while keeping suppliers informed about our technical standards and procedures.
  • Conducting monthly store visits and competitor research to stay up-to-date with key trends and competitors in our space.
  • Assisting the Senior Technologist on risk assessments and wearer trials to ensure our products meet our high standards.
  • Contributing to our sustainable strategy by maintaining and submitting sustainable certification paper trails to our wholesale partners.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of garment construction and basic pattern cutting, as well as excellent communication skills. Experience with footwear, accessories, or swimwear is an advantage but not essential.
